Extra Credit #2 Directions

Go to the Jefferson Lab Website and take the tour of the atom and subatomic particles.

When you have finished this tour spend some time with the interactive Periodic Table of Elements.

Then play a couple of games. Element Hangman tests your knowledge of the elements through this interactive game. The Element Math Game tests your understanding of the make-up of various atomic elements. The Element Flash Cards test your knowledge of the elements, their chemical symbols, atomic mass and atomic numbers. Each of these games keeps score of how many you get right. See who can get the most! Element Concentration will tell you a percentage at the end to gauge your memory. Lastly, Element Matching tests whether you know your names and chemical symbols.

Complete the crossword puzzle on gasses. Complete this puzzle on strange symbols as well. Try other puzzles.

Lastly, copy and take this quiz, print it out and check your answers. Write the number correct over the total number of answers and give it to your teacher.
